Lelutka - FAME
I was reminded that I better blog some other shoes, or this blog is gonna look more like a blog for Dilly Dolls!
I’m getting better at removing the ugly AA jaggedy-ness that comes with using a shadow viewer/DoF - other than the interesting backgrounds and stuff, the pictures are just touched up, and unedited.
I have some pics lined up to edit up and such, some G Field and whatnot - but here’s some Lelutka pumps to whet your appetite. They come with colour change legwarmers, but this is a shoe blog, I don’t get excited about legwarmers! :D

I really like the style of these loafer pumps, though I’d love some strictly plain coloured suede ones - the suede texture on these bad boys is to die for, seriously. I mean, the textures on Lelutka shoes are, as always exceptionally realistic, but these? I can imagine just how devilishly soft these would feel to touch.

Just look at the arch on that baby - the heel is nice and chunky too, it’s perfectly librarian chic - add tweedy skirt and a blouse and you’re set.

Would you just look at those sexy tassles, and that divine croc texture? I’m in love. Again. I know I say that with every pair of shoes, but this time I mean it. Like I did the last time. :D

Another Dilly Dolls Post - Sonata
So Oriana is, quite frankly - a machine. The Sonata boots come in two variations, with multiple options for each style - and I’m in LOVE with the colours.

The Sonata boots come in a plethora of individual colours, 21 to be exact, which includes 5 sexy metallics, of which I am in complete lust with.
The shape of the boot is highly stylised, yet it doesn’t look out of place with any normal outfit - the upturned toe is cute and the chunky heel sits well with the rest of the boot.

Again, with Dilly Dolls shoes the attention to detail on these original designs is wonderful, the shading under the deco plates, the piping detail - I can’t gush enough!

Here’s a close up on a button on the back of the boot, just look at the texture detail! It’s adorable!
The Sonata boot also comes in a Scrunched flavour, which is a great casual boot, with that slouching upper. This comes in three different styles, Striped, Knit and Plaid - in 8 different colours each!

I really like the way these look, kind of like a mule with giant warm socks - and again the texturing is superb, subtle shading in areas gives a massive amount of depth. From left to right in the above picture, Striped, Knit, Plaid.

Dilly Dolls - Shrew Boots
We all know the high rollers in the footwear world in Second Life, but did you know there’s a lot of less known designers at the cusp of extreme popularity?
I’m going to blog some of these designers to start with - much as I adore the popular brands, I think these fledgling shoe designers need the exposure more!
I start with Dilly Dolls, by Oriana Kuhr. Known for her gothic lolita and doll wear, her love of frills and ribbons and everything lolita passes on into her footwear, and a large portion of her footwear creations is very versatile for wearing with other fashion types - not just lolita or doll.
These Shrew Boots are one of my favourite pairs of boots from Dilly Dolls, the sculpt work is really well done, and I love that they’re texture change - so you only need one pair taking up space in your inventory!

The boots are easilly resizeable using either the enclosed HUD or via touch menu, which also can be used to change the texture to a wide variety of vibrant colour which, when combined with the contrasting black toe cap and trim, make these boots ‘pop’!

The heel on this boot is rapier thin, even going so far as to emulate the look of a foil, one of those delicate swords used in fencing. Boots for the femme fatale indeed!

The attention to detail in the buckle area and the zip down the size is extreme, you can see how each tooth in the zip is individually separate from the others, and the eyelets on the buckle bring it all together. The legs of the boot is wide enough for most legs, and I’m sure most wouldn’t have a problem fitting these boots, especially with the included alpha maps for both tall and shorter legged avatars.
You can go grab these lovelies here at Dilly Dolls, for just 300L, and if you’re stuck for cash, they’re available in the Midnight Mania, sending out when it hits 300 people!

First, an introduction.
My name is Cyclic, and I am a shoe addict. Not necessarily an abnormal statement for a female of my age bracket - but I fully accept that I am indeed, a shoe addict.
Most of my time in both worlds is spent glassy eyed, ogling the latest footwear trends, dreaming of being shod in the finest of the fine boots, the most sumptuous sandals, the most dainty flats.
I spent most of my high school years studying the history of shoes, so my interest isn’t just on an ‘OH SHINY’ level. There is a deep history to our footwear, and it’s interesting to watch as we reuse designs created thousands of years ago, or rework hundred year old designs into brand new ones.
Second Life has only increased my love for shoes, and this blog, is going to document and review the shoes, boots, sandals and more that I’ve gotten my grubby little paws onto.
